LFTVD essay questions for revision

In prep for your PPEs, why not plan these essays or try to write them under timed conditions? Remember, I am happy to mark them, and there is the Tuesday lunch time session for help if needed. The part of the question in italics would be in each of the subsequent questions.

“Representations of diversity can vary between long form television dramas from different countries.’  Discuss how and why representations of diversity were used differently to appeal to audiences in the two set episodes of the LFTVD’s drama you have studied.

In your answer you must:

·         consider the contexts in which long form television dramas are produced and consumed

·         explain how media contexts may have influenced representations in the set episodes of the two long form television dramas you have studied

·         make judgements and reach conclusions about the differences in representations of diversity between the two shows. (30)
